D.I.Y ZARA Inspired Beaded Jeans

Hello my beautiful readers,

How are you all doing this fine day. So a couple weeks ago when I was doing some online shopping (my guilty pleasure) I came across these beautiful white beaded jeans in ZARA. I absolutely loved the way they looked and thought they would make the perfect addition to my wardrobe. They were very eye catching and unique and I could imagine a hundred different ways to wear them this Spring. The only catch was they wouldn’t ship to me. Has this happened to anyone else who lives in Australia? When I go to checkout it says it doesn’t deliver to Australia only Europe and the US?!?

Since I couldn’t buy them I thought next best thing why not try to diy them… and that’s exactly what I did. I just got some white thread (I didn’t have any clear thread at home), some white beads I got years ago and a pair of jeans. And slowly I got to the task of beading the beads one by one all down the sides. I didn’t keep track of how long it took me but I would say it was about 2 hours for each side, with little 2 minute breaks here and now.

It was tiring, my eyes started to hurt halfway through the second leg, and I stabbed my fingers with the needle about 1000 times during the process, so just keep that in mind before you start this. Besides that I did have fun making them. I got to jam out to Taylor Swift and the Mamma Mia soundtrack and in the end I ended up with a really cool pair of jeans.

All in all I think these jeans turned out amazing. I would definitely recommend you to try making a pair for yourself at home. It will be tiring and hard at times but it’s well worth it in the end. Plus whenever someone complements you on your jeans, you can always say “Thanks, I made them myself!” ๐Ÿ™‚

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON BEADED JEANS? LOVE THEM OR HATE THEM?
