Black Friday Haul

Hey guys! I hope you’re all doing well. Today I wanted to share with you my haul from the Black Friday sale.

I ended up finding a lot of great stuff which is a first for me since I usually never buy anything on Black Friday. I guess this year I got really lucky!

I have filmed a video version of this haul so for those of you who prefer watching to reading, I’ll link down my video here so you can watch it!

LOSING MY VIRGINITY – The Autobiography

by Richard Branson

Richard Branson is someone I have really admired and looked up to for years now. Not only is he a phenomenal business man but a great man with a heart of gold as well.

I really admire what he’s done and all he’s achieved and it’s really inspiring hearing his story. I am currently reading his new biography Finding My Virginity which I have been loving. It’s such an interesting book that offers so much insight into what it was like building the Virgin brand. And since I’ve heard that Losing My Virginity is the prequel to that book I thought I would get it as well. Thankfully there was one left when I got to my bookstore and I ended up picking it up!

BUDDHA – A Story Of Enlightiment

by Deepak Chopra

After listening to a few interviews and talks with Deepak Chopra I had really wanted to get one of his books. I wasn’t sure which one to get, since there are so many amazing ones to choose from, but in the end I got this one. Not only was it on sale but it was also the only book by Deepak Chopra I could find in my bookstore. I haven’t gotten around to reading it just yet so I won’t be able to tell you much about it now but I do plan on doing a book review of it on my channel soon.

So if you want to get a notification as soon as that video goes up, you can subscribe to my channel and as soon as it’s uploaded you’ll be notified!

L’oreal Paris Colour Riche Lip Liner

From the different lip liners I’ve tried from different drugstore makeup brands I think this one is hands down the best one you could get.

Firstly the color is gorgeous, it’s so vibrant and bold and I love the fact that when you apply it it doesn’t tend to smudge everywhere. The liner and your lipstick stays on for a good couple of hours and looks so clean and polished throughout the day.

Another thing I love about it is the fact that it will last you a good couple of months. I’ve had one L’Oreal lip liner last me a good 6 months before I needed to replace it. So bearing in mind you don’t lose it anywhere this lip liner will last you a long time.

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor

When it comes to matte lip products I usually stir clear of them. The formula with matte products for me are always to dry and stiff, so I prefer going with ones that have moisture in them.

These Revlon HD Matte Lipcolors really impressed me with the fact that even though they are matte, and the color let me tell you is gorgeous, they still have some moisture in them which is amazing. And also the main reason these have become my new favorite go to lip products.

I just love everything about them. The range of colors to choose from are stunning and the quality of the actual lip colors is 10/10

These are definitely my favorite new products from 2017!

Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara

When it comes to mascara I’m usually very picky. After trying close to 100 different ones over the years I finally have down what I think makes the perfect mascara… well for me anyway.

Firstly before anything I make sure the scent isn’t to strong and overwhelming. If it smells to chemically then I usually pass on trying it out since my eyes get really sensitive to strong smells.

This one I’m happy to say is great in this regard. While it does have a slight scent to it, it’s nothing to strong and when you apply it to your lashes the smell goes away completely as soon as it dries.

Second thing I look for is the brush. I prefer when the brush is sparse and there aren’t to many bristles on it, since I find they are the best ones to use.

Unfortunately this brush is the complete opposite to that. This brush is big and every inch is covered in bristles. I’ve used this mascara a couple times already and every time I use it I smudge it on my lids. Which gets annoying, especially on days when I have to be ready and out of the house in 5 minutes.

And last but not least, I check how the formula is. I look at it when it’s on and see how it looks. Is it clumpy? How’s the color? Is it making my lashes look fuller and bigger? I also look at how long it stays looking fresh and count how many times I have to reapply my mascara throughout the day.

This way I can get an idea if it’s a truly high quality mascara that doesn’t need to much maintenance or if it’s time to look for another.

The formula to this mascara is unfortunately not the best. No I’m just kidding, it’s actually really amazing. I was really impressed with it. When I wore this mascara it made my eyelashes look fabulous and kind of like I was wearing falsies.

As far as mascaras go this one is a great high quality, inexpensive one to get. I’m actually going to be giving this particular one to my mum, since she likes brushes like this, and I’m gonna repurchase this mascara but in the green top version.

Cotton On Mini Tube Skirt

A Simple Black Mini Skirt Is A Must Have For Every Wardrobe.

I just love how versatile they are styling wise. You can wear them dressed up or dressed down, in winter or summer, basically for every occasion.

The definition of a classic basic piece!

Cotton On White Tee

Another great basic piece to have and this is one I really needed since all the current white tops I own have some sort of stain on them.

Burritos – Spaghetti I’m looking at you!

7

Cotton On Plaid Peplum Top

Ever since peplum tops first became popular 3 years ago, I have been obsessed with them. I love the silhouette of them and just how beautiful and feminine they look.

So it’s no surprise when I saw this one at Cotton On I had to get it. The neckline with the peplum is just gorgeous. Plus it’s in plaid!

Target Blue Velvet Cami

Lately more and more I have been getting into wearing velvet. At first I was pretty hesitant to try out this trend since I didn’t think it was really my style but after seeing this top I was convinced to give it a go.

9

Buffalo David Bitton Velvet Lace Cami

This cami has definitely got to be one of my favorite pieces that I got on the Black Friday sale. It’s so beautifully made, and the mix of lace with velvet is just spectacular. I also love the lace and button detailing on the back of the cami (which I show in my Black Friday Haul video).

It’s just overall a stunning classic piece and I’m so glad I got to add it to my wardrobe!

And that is it. That is my whole haul from Black Friday. Let me know…

What was your favorite purchase from Black Friday?
