My New Favorite Tripod

Hello my beautiful readers,

How are you all doing this beautiful day! In today’s post I wanted to share with you my new favorite tripod.

Before I ended up buying this tripod I had spent about a month searching through different stores for a tripod. It was so difficult to find a good quality, inexpensive one especially when every store I would go to the tripods would be $200+, which was just to out of my budget. I probably never would have found this one either if my dad hadn’t stopped by The Good Guys to buy himself something. As soon as I got to the camera section this tripod just jumped out at me…okay the price probably too along with the tripod! It was on sale at the time to $50 and I think the original price was around $100. After I played around with the display tripod they had it was a no brainer, I knew this was probably the most inexpensive, good quality tripod I was going to find.

The tripod I ended up buying is this one by Sirix Digital. I’ve already used it a few times and it’s honestly been a lifesaver when filming videos. Probably one of the best feelings is not having to turn my house upside down looking for boxes and big books to stack onto a dining room chair to create a “tripod” every time I want to film a video. Plus lugging it from room to room is also a lot more convenient.

Along with the tripod I also received this carry bag with it. The bag is made from a pretty good quality material, I haven’t had any rips or tears yet…hopefully it stays like that!

When you first take out the tripod you’ll see a few handy little features on it. The first one is this carry bar grip on the side. Makes moving the tripod to different spots a whole lot easier.

There’s also this handle on the top which you use to film panning shots with.

It also has two stabilizers on it so you can make sure your camera is always sitting perfectly straight for your shot.

The circle on the side which you turn is to make the part which your camera sits on as loose or tight as you’d like it. If that sounds kind of confusing don’t worry I explain why in the clip after the next one.

This handle on the side, which you pull out when using and pull in when your not, makes the neck of the tripod go higher and lower.

Now remember when I mentioned the circle turning handle that makes were the camera is sitting on tighter and looser…well ta da. This is what it’s for, it tilts to the side so you can take pictures both horizontally and vertically.

There are two sets of heights to the legs which you pull out. You just pull open the handle of either the top or bottom handle and pull out your desired height length.

In the top and bottom photo you can see what it looks like when you pull them out.

Overall I think this is an amazing tripod especially for anyone who has just started dabbling in photography. It’s both practical and inexpensive.

I’ll leave a link for you right here, if you want to check it out:

I hope you liked today’s post! Let me know in the comments what is your favorite type of tripod and why? I’d love to hear from you!

Have a marvelous day! I’ll talk to you all on Monday ๐Ÿ˜€
