My Hack For Learning Any Language

multilingualHello my beautiful readers,

Learning foreign languages has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I’ve always been fascinated by how a language can get two complete strangers to connect and how they have been shaped and changed through the years.

Since learning different languages is pretty difficult and time consuming I am always looking for ways to fit the time to learn them into my schedule. And I think I have finally found the perfect way to practice and learn whilst it not interfering with your busy schedule.

I know this probably isn’t anything new for a lot of you but I’ve only just recently started doing this so yeah! 🙂

Down below I’ve come up with a list of reasons on why you should give this hack a try!

  1. You’ll Learn To Pronounce The Words Correctly

Pronunciation is probably one of the hardest things about learning a language. No matter how many books you read or translations you hear from websites it can still be tough to memorize every words correct pronunciation by just repeating the word a bunch of times. This is were singing songs will be a big help.

For example it’s like when you first hear a song on the radio and the first few times you try to sing it you mess up the words, but after singing it a bunch of times it becomes like second nature. You can sing it in the shower, in your car, while shopping for groceries, and same goes for when you learn a foreign song you’ll sing it enough times for it to become like second nature to you.

2. You Will Always Be Using The Language

Just like any skill you need to use it to stay good at it. If you spend months learning French but then go 2-3 months without actually speaking it you’ll find yourself forgetting a lot of it. By singing at least two – three songs a day, which can be done anywhere at anytime may I add,  you’ll be constantly practicing. This way when the time comes for you to actually make conversation with someone you’ll be more at ease and comfortable and you won’t have to worry about being rusty.

3. You Can Practice Anywhere

Like I mentioned in the last paragraph you can sing anywhere at anytime. You don’t need a computer or massive amounts of books, all you need is your voice. This is great if you have a really busy schedule that doesn’t allow you to space out a few hours in your day to sit down, grab your books and learn.

4. It’s FUN!

Admit it who doesn’t love jamming to their favorite songs. It’s so much fun and you can’t help but feel like a total rock star. 😀

I hope I convinced some of you to give this a go and if you do let me know in the comments below if it worked for you! Also feel free to share some of your tips and tricks for learning a language, I’d love to hear from you.
